Resilience Wellness Companions at the Health & Wellness Event – A Day of Screenings, Information, and Fun!

On July 13, 2024, Resilience Wellness Companions proudly participated in the Health & Wellness Event at Discovery Church in Moreno Valley, CA. The event, held in honor of National Serve Day, offered not only free health screenings but also engaging activities for the community.

Our Contributions: Free Blood Pressure Screenings

At the event, we provided free blood pressure screenings, which helped attendees stay informed about their heart health. Early detection of high blood pressure, in turn, can help prevent serious conditions such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney problems. Additionally, we shared key information on heart health, diabetes management, and behavioral health, ensuring participants left with valuable insights.

Engaging with the Community

Furthermore, in addition to screenings, we offered interactive activities and exciting giveaways. It was a great opportunity to meet local residents while explaining our in-home care services. We thoroughly enjoyed helping people understand how to take better care of their health and well-being.
